Some of my earliest memories involve yelling and screaming at the TV with my parents during Dolphins games, whether we were winning or losing. It’s been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. My mom and dad were both passionate fans, and naturally, that fandom passed down to me.

Being a Dolphins fan is more than just following a football team, it’s about loyalty, heart, and tradition. I can still remember the highs of playoff wins and the lows of heartbreaking losses. Through it all, my confidence in this team has barely wavered. No matter where life has taken me, the Dolphins remain a strong connection to my hometown and my roots.

A Tough 2025 Season

This 2025 NFL season has been especially challenging for the Fins. After a promising 2023 campaign and a solid 2024 season that ended in the playoffs, expectations were high coming into the year. But unfortunately, the team has stumbled out of the gate, losing several key matchups early in the season.

One of the biggest concerns has been injuries, especially at the quarterback position. Tua Tagovailoa has taken some brutal hits over the years. Many fans and analysts speculated that he should consider retirement due to concussion concerns and lingering injuries. Tua has shown nothing but heart. He chose to keep playing, tuning out the noise and proving that he still has the drive to lead this team.

Losing a Star: Tyreek Hill

Another major blow this season was the early injury to Tyreek Hill, aka “The Cheetah.” Tyreek has been a game-changer since joining the Dolphins. His NFL stats speak for themselves, and his impact on the field goes far beyond the numbers. Sadly, a leg injury early in the season has ruled him out, and the Dolphins’ offense has clearly felt his absence.

Tyreek brings more than just stats, he brings energy, swagger, and a big-play threat that keeps defenses honest. Without him, the Dolphins’ offensive rhythm has been noticeably different.

Stepping Up: Jaylen Waddle

With Hill sidelined, Jaylen Waddle has stepped into the spotlight. He’s another dynamic playmaker, known for his speed, route-running, and after-the-catch ability. Waddle is now the team’s primary wide receiver, and he’s proving that he’s ready for the moment. He’s not new to the pressure, before Hill arrived, Waddle was already making a name for himself in the league.

Keep up with Waddle’s current season stats here.

Still Hope for a Comeback?

Despite a rough start to the season, there’s still hope. The Dolphins’ current standings put them in a tough spot, but we’ve seen this team fight back before. A few key wins, a healthier roster, and some momentum could change everything.

Head Coach Mike McDaniel continues to show innovative play-calling, and the team’s core still has what it takes. I believe in this squad.

Celebrating the Fins with Creativity

As part of a recent creative assignment, I designed a custom poster showcasing my love for the Dolphins. It might have just been a simple Assessment Bank project, but for me, it was a meaningful way to show my fandom. I used design and typography to bring my passion to life, and it felt great to represent my team in a unique way.

Final Thoughts

Being a Dolphins fan means sticking with the team through thick and thin. This season might not be going the way we hoped, but the heart of this team and its fans remains strong.

No matter where I live now, the Miami Dolphins will always be my team, my connection to home, and a source of pride.

Fins Up.
